Admissions

The process is simple and kept under wraps

On your first admission day for treatment in our facility, you will immediately feel the warmth and friendliness of our staff. In most cases, admissions need to be pre-reserved, but we can take in a new admission within one day of making a reservation.

Clients, family members, friends, and medical experts can all refer new patients. Our team is prepared to receive you upon arrival once you have confirmed your booking.

Once you arrive at our clinic the first step is to familiarise yourself with the clinical team as well as your surrounding which includes the layout of our facility. Upon arrival we will also give you a welcome pack which has a timetable for your therapy session and also explains everything that you need to be conversant with during your stay at our facility, the Sanctuary Lodge. Please give us a call if you can't travel to our centre by yourself.

After Admission - Your Initial 24 Hours

In the course of the very first 24 hours, we'll make arrangements for you to visit our detoxification specialist psychiatrist.

Your medical and psychological treatment needs will be assessed during this first and important step. If needed, a complete detox procedure will be recommended. Then our medical health professionals will monitor and administer the detox under strict protocol.

Please don't forget that you need to provide us with details about your physician's surgery and that you must bring with you any medications if you are currently taking them.

The psychiatrist will emphasize any parts of your treatment where a specialist is needed and then make suggestions. Our goal is to make sure that you treatment needs are met during your stay, therefore we will make sure that anything recommended or highlighted is then incorporated into your bespoke treatment plan. We will ensure that you are getting the highest standard care at any time and your treatment plan will then be constantly evaluated by our clinical director, counsellors and clinical personnel.

As soon as your evaluation has been concluded our kind staff members will assist you to get comfortable. We fully recognize that this is a very stressful and fearful time for most, but our staff is on hand to offer advice and reassurance at all times.
